How to use thermal conductive silicone sheet, seven steps to answer for you in detail; With the rapid development of the electronics industry, high thermal conductive silicone sheet has brought great help to the electronics industry. The chips of products are highly integrated, the functional requirements are increasing, and the volume requirements are getting smaller and smaller. Therefore, heat has become a must-learn and severe challenge for many engineers. At the same time, the conduction-related technology has been continuously valued with the development of the electronics industry.

Generally speaking, the main function of thermal conductive silicone sheet is to fill and conduct heat, and it does not have the function of heat dissipation. Because the heating element and the radiator are often uneven, there is a lot of air in direct contact, and these substances are poor thermal conductors. The heat of the heating element is severely obstructed when it is transferred to the heat dissipation device. The thermal conductive silicone sheet has the characteristics of a high compression ratio, which discharges the air and uses the radiator and the heating element to completely contact to reduce the temperature of the product, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the product.

Today, the thermal conductive silicone sheet manufacturer will tell you the correct installation and use of thermal conductive silicone sheets in 7 steps:

1. Keep the contact surface between the electronic components and the thermal conductive silicone sheet clean and avoid dirt on the surface of the electronic components. Any stains on the contact surface will cause the self-adhesion and sealing thermal conductivity of the thermal conductive silicone sheet to deteriorate.

2. When taking the thermal conductive silicone sheet, the thermal conductive silicone sheet with a large area should be grabbed from the center, and the grabbing of the sheet with a smaller area is not required, because the large thermal conductive silicone sheet is unevenly stressed, and the thinner silicone sheet is easy to cause the thermal conductive silicone sheet to deform, affecting subsequent operations and even damaging the silicone sheet.

3. Hold the thermal conductive silicone sheet in one hand and tear off the protective film on one side with the right hand. When using, remember not to tear off both sides of the protective film at the same time, try to reduce the number and area of direct contact with the thermal conductive silicone sheet, and keep the self-adhesion and thermal conductivity of the thermal conductive silicone sheet from being damaged.

4. Tear off one side of the protective film and align the radiator toward the electronic component to be pasted. Slowly put down the thermal silicone sheet. It is best to use a flat film to push from left to right to avoid bubbles in the middle.

5. If bubbles are generated during operation, pull up one end of the silicone sheet and repeat the above steps, or use a hard plastic sheet to gently wipe off the bubbles. The force should not be too large to avoid damage to the thermal silicone sheet.

6. Tear off the protective film on the other side, align and put it into the radiator, tear off the last protective film, and use less force to avoid pulling or pulling up the thermal silicone sheet to cause bubbles.

7. After tightening or using a strong adhesive thermal silicone sheet, apply a certain amount of pressure to the radiator and store it for a period of time to ensure that the thermal silicone sheet is fixed.
